Hello, my name is Suzanne and I love designing and making Jewelry! My husband and I own Gulflily Jewelry.

We are based in Florida, our home, where we have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!  Some of them slightly hidden gems! The colors of Nature and culture here give me a lot of inspiration for our jewelry.

Who we are and what we do

​

Gulflily Jewelry, is our privately owned small business and e-commerce Jewelry store. Our Jewelry business started because of a passion for creativity and a desire to make well made jewelry for ourselves and for friends and family. There are a lot of Jewelry businesses our there and not all make the quality products that we desired, so after being disappointed with cost and quality, we decided to start making our own. Having done that for several years, we finally decided to make it a business and share it with everyone else. 

 

My husband is an avid fisherman, spear fisherman, diver, hunter, and helps with lots of support, and suggestions for our business.

I spent the past decade training and developing my skills in Martial Arts, I loved the creative aspect to it as well as the fitness, but lately have started taking a slower approach to fitness and life. Previous to that I was an avid weight trainer.

Since High school, I've always had a creative side to my personality. I took art classes in school, and enjoyed painting, drawing and using mixed medias in my artwork and competing in art shows. Over the years I have experimented with different crafts and found that jewelry making is my favorite! So approximately ten years ago, I just started making things I liked by taking inspiration from old movies and my favorite tv series, and creating designs with the products I love like Pearls and semi-precious gemstones. I gifted friends and family my creations and in time I was then asked to make custom orders for others. Finally I made a business out of it. 

 

My hobbies today include making jewelry of course, watching my favorite tv series, reading, cooking, spending time with family, walking our dogs outdoors and building our business that I love so much! Taking our setup to outdoor popup markets and meeting new customers is definitely an added perk! I also work to design our website, social media pages and fulfill orders. You can find me at local popup markets in the Northwest Florida region where you can shop the majority of my current designs.

You can order products directly from our website, call, email or send us a chat to order as well and we will send you an invoice to click and pay securely. We also do special art shows and events in the Northwest Florida, Gulf coast area where you can view and purchase our jewelry. If you follow our social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, we always try to keep our followers and customers updated on our latest.
